BIOGRAPHY

Rob Kleeger is a passionate, strategic and tactical thinker, who approaches solving the client's needs with a refreshing, honest, upfront, reasonable, predictable, and objective initial engagement where I strive for providing excellence & developing mutual long term trusting relationships.

Rob has been involved in this emerging field since its inception in the private sector where he was a Senior Partner in a leading Digital Forensics firm which he lead the growth from startup in early 2002 through an acquisition by a Fortune 500 subsidiary in 2006.

Rob is now in his second decade utilizing his solid industry experience to assist attorneys and their clients in planning for and managing the risks associated with electronic discovery. With a broad background focused on assisting clients on e-discovery compliance in an efficient and cost-effective manner. He often provides guidance to clients on litigation hold preparation; working with clients to identify the locations, custodians and methods of storing electronically stored information; preparing plans for electronic discovery in litigation; coordinating the preservation, collection and extraction of potentially discoverable ESI; preparing discovery requests and responses; and working with litigation teams to efficiently review and analyze documents for production and trial preparation.

Oftentimes, Rob is sought after as a thought-leader assisting corporations of all sizes, outside counsel, and other trusted advisors with overall responsibilities which have included advising, engaging, and managing investigations and developing early stage digital forensic investigation strategies.

Rob has advised countless clients and handled various types of litigation and legal disputes in various State and Federal courts, which include the following:

Crimes facilitated by computers, such as data theft, restricted covenant, non-compete, sexual harassment, discrimination, theft of IP, commercial litigation, embezzlement, bankruptcy, SEC/securities, matrimonial related matters, criminal, and many more.

In addition, Rob commonly provides non-technical lectures to attorneys, corporate executives, litigation support professionals and at various industry affiliations or through accredited education providers.

Ro is a frequent speaker and subject matter expert on digital forensics, cyber security, and electronic discovery. He speaks passionately at various industry conferences and seminars around the Metro area and Nationally such as ALA  (Association of Legal Administrators) conferences, various Inn's of Court's, Bar Associations, frequent guest lecturer at Seton Hall Law School, a faculty member of Lawline.com and The 2013 Top 5 FurtherED AWARD recipient and has been featured on WNBC/NBC 4 News Channel.   otably, he was selected to participate on an e-Discovery "Virtual Advisory Board" for The Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS). Rob is an Ex-work Officio of the NJ Chapter of INBLF - International Network of Boutique Law Firms.
