Marcia Golden is the managing partner of DJD/Golden, a public relations and marketing machine. She lectures frequently on public relations, social media, digital/conventional marketing and advertising. Her firm, DJD/Golden, serves as outsourced marketing muscle, delivering public relations, digital and conventional direct mail and advertising campaigns; social media initiatives, and website development services to clients in the law, accounting, finance, technology, banking, real estate, nonprofit, and hospitality, among others.
The author of the New York State Bar Association book Grow Your Practice: Legal Marketing and Business Development Strategies chapter "Where do Advertising and Public Relations Fit Into My Business Development Arsenal?" Marcia most recently delivered two "TED-style” talks on "Public Relations and Advertising for Law firms" and “How to Develop a Real World Marketing Plan” as part of two, day-long symposiums for the same organization. She also has spoken on Networking for Lawyers" at the New York City Bar, addressed the American Institute of CPAS (AICPA) and the Association of Accounting Marketers (AAM) National Conferences, and presented how-to lectures to the St. Louis Legal Marketing Association, TNC/The Accounting Resource Group, C-Connect, the New York Legal Resource Group, the New York Business Forum, and at various "lunch and learns" for professionals at law firms and accounting firms.
A former National Public Radio newscaster, she produced a syndicated series on the environment which led to her nomination to serve on the President’s Commission on the Environment. A native of Michigan, Marcia is a graduate of Michigan State University.
